Bibliometric measures of networking activities and of their impact

Results:

1. Collection and cleaning-up of publication data of selected life sciences laboratories at the institutional level
2. Determining co-publications links of these institutions at three different levels
3. Determining publication activity and citation impact of intra-mural, extramural domestic collaboration within the sample
4. Determining most active university institutions in the selected countries
5. Carrying out a structural analysis of all collected data
6. Producing a resource for researchers to use to investigate web publishing and linking in the life sciences throughout Europe.
7. Reporting on the international and national patterns of web publishing and communication in the life sciences in Europe.
